The company behind VyprVPN, Goldenfrog claims to have taken steps to improve its reliability, security... , and quality of service. I'm not sure when they said this, however, in 2022, reliability and QoS are going downhill quickly. I've been using Vypr for over a year with the software installed and executing on each PC. Everything worked relatively well until about three months ago when I began experiencing frequent and intermittent connectivity issues. Thinking that my 10-year-old router might be the cause, I installed a new TPLink router with all the latest technology After many hours of side-by-side testing with two computers on the same LAN, I have observed that a PC with the VPN turned off had 100% connectivity while a PC using Vypr had the issues. I have adjusted Vypr to use various protocols and TAP adaptors with no success in improving the QoS. As such, I'm convinced that my PCs and LAN are operating as they should. Further, from the beginning, I configured Vypr to always connect to a server in Canada. Every time I boot my PC I use "whatismyip.com" to make sure that the PC is operating through the Vypr. About half the time it connects to a server in the USA and yet the software says that it is connected to Canada. I use a couple of business online services with geolocation services that require a Canada connection so I also know when Vypr connects to the USA when I am blocked from logging in to one of the business services. IT's really annoying when the software says it's connected to Canada and yet it is not. The biggest annoyance is that I now find I have to check my external IP every time I boot a device. Why should I have to do this? I've used other VPNs and they just worked all the time. I never had to keep checking them to make sure they are working correctly. I've also done security testing to make sure there are no IP or DNS leaks or any other issues and it appears that Vypr lives up to its reputation of being secure. If the service would operate consistently so that I don't have to always check it or disconnect and reconnect to force a Canada server, I could give Vypr 5 stars. Overall it's not a bad service, however, if the QoS continues to degrade, I may be forced to go back to one of the other VPNs that I've used. I don't have time to "handhold" VyprVPN.더 보기

’ve consciously paid for PureVPN’s services exactly twice in my life—both times when I actually needed... a VPN for work. One payment was made in 2022, the other in 2023. When I paid in 2023, the company—at its own discretion—gave me a second, different username and deactivated the one I’d paid for in 2022. I figured that’s just how their system works. Fast forward to 2025, and now I’m unemployed, counting every cent just to survive. Without any prior notice about a subscription renewal or upcoming charge, the company billed me on April 2. ✅ A bunch of spam emails about services I don’t need? YES! ✖️ At least one email a few days ahead to say they’d charge my card? NOPE. On April 3, after I noticed the charge, I contacted them immediately to say I didn’t want the service. They replied that recurring charges are non-refundable. Later that same day, I noticed a second charge from them. Turns out, they reactivated both usernames—from 2022 and 2023. I’ve never needed two VPN accounts. I’ve never used two. I reached out again—same copy-paste customer service response. On top of that - there is no clear, distinguishable way to delete a payment method from their website, and the way it visualizes payment history is intentionally made to be very misleading. Who knows, maybe next week they’ll decide I need a third or fourth VPN account. Luckily, they already drained my balance down to €5, so there’s not much left for them to steal—at least until my bank processes the chargeback. Their actual service quality? Meh. You’ll run into issues here and there. But in a market full of legitimate VPN providers, my advice is: STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Final Verdict — A Safe VPN With Good Compatibility Across Devices VyprVPN remains an excellent choice. Despite its new ownership, it still offers some of the best privacy and security features. Its latest app redesign is just as eye-catching and easy to navigate as the last one. It’s also no slouch when it comes to gaming and torrenting. Like all providers, it does have a few negatives. Its speeds were slower than in our previous tests. You can also find a few other top VPNs that offer more value with slightly lower prices.
